Team,
Team Scarito made another leap closer to winning the Biggest Loser Team Challenge. Today's agenda was a run on the Radnor Trail with some stops along the way. Everyone did very well, given that it was probably the hottest part of the day.
Allison, given what she has been through came in to weigh in with the Team, now that is what I call a teammate. The most important thing this week is that we all stay on course, eat well and don't forget to take a rest day or a couple please. Allison, let me know how you feel about working out on Wednesday-Stay strong women!!! You Rock
Doug, have fun in Florida, I have no worries about you. Come back with less weight on you.

To my new friends.....
ReplyDeleteYou know...3 1/2 short weeks ago I embarked on this journey for better health. I had hoped to drop at least 10 pounds....focusing on more but happy with 10lbs.
I can tell you for sure...I did not plan to make 4 great new friends. I knew we would have fun together, sweat together, run and jump together...but i did not anticipate the LOVE! :) I has so enjoyed your company this month. It is amazing how something like this will open your heart.
Thanks for the kind words. I do feel like a slouch right now and am pissed at this freaking mess....but I remain focused on the prize! Sorry about gaining 6 oz..8 oz..10 oz...what was it?? If not for this stupid ovary..i would have been in the minus! I know it. I am working too hard to actually gain weight.
And so we march on....watching every nibble..working for every bead of sweat...and praying to be well enough to join you tomorrow!!
Love you guys!!
Enjoy the sunshine Dougie Fresh!
Allison, I cannot tell you how proud I am of you. The majority of people would have stayed home yesterday, and not even bothered to come weigh in since they weren't going to work out. You are a true teammate, and I can't thank you enough for showing up and stepping on that scale even though you were feeling like crap, and were not having the best few days. You are an inspiration to all of us.
ReplyDeleteI am taking today off from the gym as I am now on a medrol dose pack, ibuprofin and flexeril. I am going to physical therapy this afternoon for my Sciatic, so that will hopefully help burn some calories. The workout tomorrow is going to be a game time decision. I must say, being a nurse married to a doctor who's practice owns a physical therapy office does have its privliges!!!
Doug, have a great time in Florida. We know you are going to workout as hard down there as you have been up here. I can tell you have come a long way in just these past three weeks in your fitness level. You are kicking ass!!!
Ashley, It was those toe taps right?? If it was bothering you, you should have stopped, I know its hard to stop, but please don't push it. How do you feel?? Has this happened before?
ReplyDeleteLet me know about tommorrow
Ohhhh....feeling better and better every morning i wake up! Still feel pressure/bloated/distended...whatever that is?? but i think i will be there tonight at 4!! Its beats sitting on my ass on the couch! I need to exercise! I am going batty over here!!
ReplyDeleteAshley..you takin' my spot on the couch today?? hope you are feeling alright...
Hi everyone! I am down, but not out with this leg. I am able to spin, row and do push ups, sit ups... No running, jumping, elliptical, squats... I did a spin class this morning and then did 20 min on the row machine, and felt GREAT! I was so relieved that I was almost in tears (and FYI, I am NOT a crier.) I will be there today for our workout, I will just have to modify some things. See you at 4pm sharp!!
ReplyDeleteok this is a crazy love group .... who knew working out could be this fun . Ready for our pool work out on Sunday and back from FLA feeling very good . NO booze and great eating and exercising . Idea - anyone who can run MONDAY am before the weigh in ... you will drop weight if you dont drink water till after we weigh in - does anyone want to meet early and run the trail before our weigh in ? what time are we scheduled to weigh in ? thanks
